Our happy baby is back!! After a few hard weeks of congestion, ear infections, fevers, coughing bouts, sores in the mouth, urgent care visits, and middle of the night wakings we have her back!!!!! We have missed her and are so glad she is feeling better and laughing and talking like she always does. It has been awhile since I have written (as we have been so busy with a sick child) that I am sure I have missed some special moments.
This past weekend we had a great time celebrating Jon's 32nd birthday. We had a poker party with about 15 folks. Tim Tomlinson ended up taking the pot. Rigged! We ate lots, drank lots, and ended the night with hot tubbin like usual.
The next day we went to Aunt Rosie's to have a birthday dinner (and cake!) for Jon's birthday. We always love going to Aunt Rosie's house where it so comfortable and Lauryn is IN LOVE with her Auntie Rosie! Aunt Rosie spoils her "sugar" with kisses, lots of hugs, baths (during the day even!), rocking to sleep, and fresh cooked meals (were not talking microwave stuff). We are so blessed to have her out here with us. I love that Lauryn will have the same close relationship that I had with our beautiful Aunt Rosie!!
